Getting cleared to volunteer (MDUSD requirements)
To volunteer in classrooms or at most school activities, MDUSD requires Level Two/Three volunteer clearance:
Fingerprint clearance (Livescan) — view local LiveScan locations
Proof of a negative TB test
Annual Mandated Reporter Training certificate (required each year starting July 1, 2026)
Authorization by the site administrator
Complete the training on the MDUSD/Keenan SafeSchools portal (registration key: mdusd) — the course is “Mandated Reporter: Child Abuse and Neglect.” District questions: volunteers@mdusd.org.

Day-to-day volunteer signups run through Konstella, our school’s parent-communication app. Ask the front office or any board member for an invite, then watch for signups from your classroom and the Parents Club.
